Christmas legislation

As a resident of Fair Oaks and a California native my entire life, I am humbly requesting you put forth legislation that prohibits certain types of Christmas music to be played in public. Christmas music is something none of us can endure for an entire month, especially if its played everywhere we shop.

I think it is fundamentally undemocratic to be subject to this awful tripe that symbolizes little else than spending money as a hobby.

The reason why I think Christmas music is undemocratic is because the entire nation is subject to this when in the public arena. The same music by the same people symbolizing the same national holiday, and we are inundated with what I would consider propaganda, a bludgeoning of the mass mind as it were.

Can you imagine living in a state where everyone is listening to and wearing the same thing (Christmas sweaters) but the population ultimately has no choice? Reminds me of commies!

The legislation should include but not be limited to,

No Christmas music shall be played in the month of November.
No Christmas music shall be played or covered or recorded or imitated by the Beach Boys, Brian Setzer, Mariah Carry, Simple Plan, and Kenny G.
No Christmas music shall be played in grocery stores, pizza parlors, and delis.

If Christmas music is to be played in public, strict boundaries shall be established, these include,

Christmas music will begin at midnight, December 7th and end at midnight, December 25th of every year.
Christmas Music will only be played in shopping malls (mall proper) between the hours of 10 am to 6 pm, individual stores and kiosks are subject to these time frames as well.
Christmas music shall not be streamed or downloaded and if purchased, each song shall cost between $30 -$40 a song if downloaded from Apple.

Signed,
Justin Smith
